hi

i tried a test line in kodi 15.2 with tragic results. Buffering every 2seconds more buffering than playing.
I'm impressed so many people going for something that doesn't work.i installed xunity to tweak buffering with zero results .
i have a i5 with 8gb ram an ati 7875 and an ssd on win 8.1 also a gigabit ethernet and a vdsl2 internet connection 35000/3125.
Is any way to watch flawless tv ??. i tried H channel from all providers with the same result crazy buffer.

Any idea ??

And when you try to stream a movie from Genesis, Salts or the like? Do you also experience buffering? And when you say you tried H channel from all providers do you mean free streams you found or from stalker client?

Iptv is not ideal it has it ups and downs but lately it works quite good and channels are working flawlessly for most of the time weekends and watching highly anticipated game is still an issue but it should get better with time.

I used to pay for Netflix when I discovered kodi stopped paying Netflix and got subscription a month ago and I feel I got my money's worth with channel selection and quality of service. It was frustrating not being able to watch sky f1 when f1 race is on but last weekend it worked perfectly.

Im running on nexus player with 60/10 cable.

But you should also try VPN to make sure your ISP isn't blocking you

Some checks you can do on your end:
1. If possible use a good wired connection. Use purchased Cat5 cable. If improperly home made cable is incorrectly made you can get cross-talk and have issues.
2. If wireless and your device supports dual band, then make sure you use a dual band router for best performance. Interference from other routers may cause issues. The further you are from the router the slower the speed.
3. Make sure that your routers firmware is up to date. If your router supports it, may want to use 3rd part software like DD-WRT.
4. Check your QOS setting in the router. If enabled, try adding a high priority for your device or try disabling it. You should only use QOS if you may hit a cap on your Internet Speed.
5. If you have torrent software running, make sure it is not configured for wide open. You need to limit both down and upload speeds or your bandwidth will fall of sharply and so does your ping times which will cause issues with live TV.
6. Make sure your ISP is not throttling your connection.

You can use ping and tracert to check what your delays are during your freezing issues, that may point to where the issue is.

Live TV does not work the same way as streaming from files. When streaming from files, once the stream starts it is a constant flow. Live TV is sent in segments so there is a segment request every few seconds. If the segment is missed because of bad turn around times, then you get a freeze.

As for the VPN. Try using the search. I know I have written a couple of posts on the subject.
