Run through an encrypted VPN server and you can use any ISP. This will add another monthly expense but you will be protected from anyone knowing what you are doing and from your ISP throttling your connection. I have a DD-WRT router that runs OpenVPN encryption and connects to my VPN server service, so everything that I do on the Internet in my house is covert, even from the NSA. This does add a little latency to my connections (17 to 55 ms) and slows the throughput down a little, but my security and piece of mind is worth it.

Do you really think that if someone is determined to follow you, VPN will save you ?

Yes! Particularly if you are using OpenVPN encryption and an off-shore VPN server that doesn't keep IP records, and especially if you are worried about your own ISP, like the OP is. Your ISP can't throttle or block your connection if they don't know what is coming and going over your Internet connection.

Remember, as part of their security, VPN's do not send the mac address, so stalker will not work with a VPN. Now that said, I am sure that not all VPNs go to that length to provide security. So if someone has one that sends the mac, lets pass it on I know that purevpn blocks the mac. That is the one I tried to use.

If you are using an IPTV private server to watch TV, you ARE doing something wrong! It IS illegal! IMO it is important to use whatever resource I have at my disposal to reduce the risk.

Blessed are the believers ....
And you think your ISP can not control you if they decide to do this

The OP never stated that he was worried, and made no mentions of using a VPN at all. There are providers in the Caribbean that are blocking access to the service, hence why he wanted to create a list of provider that work so people can make a decision without the fear that it will not work when they set everything up.

So to bring this back on topic as everyone else seems to be going off about security.

The point that I was trying to make is that it doesn't matter weather or not your ISP blocks this sort of traffic if you are using an encrypted VPN server.

Thank you :) i will add it to the list

My provider doesn't give a shit about what its customers get up to online. They give us unlimited bandwidth with no peak time throttling. I don't even use a VPN service and i have no freezing, best provider i think!
