I have been an NFPS subscriber for several years now going back to the original IKS days and long before IPTV was even a wet dream.
When IPTV was in the very early testing phases, I was one of the first to try it out.
I have one paid copy of STB Emulator Pro and I am using it on an Android box. The emulator is setup for two providers.
On NFPS it is a real challenge to keep the service working. It was working yesterday but today it's reboot this try that, your ISP is giving you the gears, it might be your configuration, try this, try that. Oops almost forgot the make sure you do an IPTV reset or change your MAC or both!
On the "Other" almost identical service provider it works almost flawlessly almost every day 24 hours a day. In six months I had to make one change that I was told about a month in advance. Several times to make sure that everyone knew about it.
The "other" provider gives me picture quality that is at least of 720 clarity and if available even 1080 clarity, a guide that works and is reasonably accurate. The only buffering that I have seen is when I overload my meager as in almost crappy Internet connection.
The "other" guy is only slightly more expensive and I do mean slightly.
The "other" guy answers his or her emails for questions or problems, has a forum just like NFPS. And, makes announcements when they are going to work on their servers or whatever.
So, like I started to say, I was going to call you to ask you how come but I didn't have your number.
My renewal is coming up again in a couple of months. Do you think you might have things stable by then? Ever hear the saying if it ain't broken.......don't fix it?
It seems very obvious that someone is constantly trying to make changes for whatever reason.
Thanks for listening.
