How to Remove Channel Lock Feature permanently from Mag 254?

I already know how to unlock each channel individually.

Instead of unlocking each individual channel, is there anyway to unlock all locked channels at the same time?

Is there a way to remove the Lock Channel feature permanently from the Mag 254?

I'll make a guess here, if the EMU is similar, that there is an app button on the remote. Select that when you are highlighted on a locked channel, and enter the password. It should be permanently unlocked at that point.

I'm sure someone will correct me if that's wrong.
