IPTV66 How to get a Mac address

New to this got my route number then went to link my Mac all it has are 0's no other numbers. How do I get it

Change the 0's. Begin with 00:1A:78 (mandatory) and fill-in the rest with 6 alphanumerics of your choosing from the ranges A-F and 0-9. If the system reports MAC already in use, change some of the last 6 until it reports MAC change successful.

Thus, 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX...the X's are up to you.

It keeps saying can't update

If you are using a receiver then the receiver has it's own mac.
