Ed Soares, Anderson Silva's long-time manager, said on Monday's The MMA Hour show that he was interested in seeing Silva fight Georges St-Pierre next, however, according to GSP's manager, that fight -- or any, for that matter -- is unlikely to happen in the near future.

"Georges is really enjoying his life right now," Rodolphe Beaulieu said, "and has no plan of coming back."

The Silva vs. GSP fight has been discussed for years. It appeared close to happening after Silva traveled to Montreal to watch St-Pierre defeat Carlos Condit at UFC 154 in Nov. 2012, however, the UFC ended up booking St-Pierre vs. Diaz instead.

The 33-year-old St-Pierre suffered a torn left ACL last March and hasn't fought since Nov. 2013. After defeating Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 to retain the welterweight title, he decided to relinquish it in order to take some time off from the sport. He has never officially announced his retirement or his intentions to fight again. He was medically-cleared to train again in October.

UFC president Dana White confirmed on Saturday night, following Silva's win over Nick Diaz, that he offered St-Pierre a fight at UFC 186 in Montreal on April 25, however, St-Pierre declined.
