Hi everyone! Just getting into this game though I've been reading up on it for some time.
Currently I feed the house's media streamers with a nice NAS4Free server holding ~14 TB of goodies I get through the usual means. Also use region unlocked Netflix and recently set up an OTA antenna on the roof using the old satellite mast. Fantastic quality from that.
I would like to cut the cable bill once and for all but the only thing holding me back is the girlfriend's want for about 4 channels we currently get on our single basic cable/basic HD box. The previously mentioned OTA antenna feeds the other three TVs. I hate those ugly, expensive cable boxes.
Had Kodi running on a computer and IR remote and have an IPTV app on a new Apple TV which looks easy enough for the family the use.
Hoping to learn a lot from the site and the users with this final step!
