yes i do
I have a couple questions I am new the hobby and I am loving it. I am currently using an IKS portal and I have all the channels but they are NOT true HD. Sure it shows the content from an HD station but its waterdown and not HD. Is this going to be same with any portal I use? Just from the streaming aspect? I use a 50" plasma so I can see almost all imperfections (no its not a deal breaker just a question).

Secondly My STB always says it has been blocked. I go in and check my route and it says everything is good. So I reset my box, disconnect from the network and check my route. IT worked the first time but not since. I have not "Reset IPTV" Will that do what I need? I am afraid it will screw up everything and reset my entire route and donation.

Thanks everyone and this site is great!

the IPTV reset function will not mess up your donation or anything else. You could do that reset 100 times and everything will be okay.
I would try it now , might fix things for you.

Nothing you can do about the HD picture quality. Different IPTV services have different sources of HD channels and some of them stream them at higher resolutions. It seems like the NFPS/IKS66 service lower the resolution to conserve on the bandwidth so that folks with mediocre internet download speeds can watch. If they pump up the resolution and thus bandwidth requirements a lot of people would have a problem with buffering.

I like the good channel selection that IKS66 has - there is a lot of US content from Dish and Direct. Some people add a second service to their receiver that want to watch higher definition - but you will probably have to opt for Canadian content coming from Bell and Rogers cable. From what I have tried these are the only services that seem to have higher resolution - some will offer the same channel in high resolution and then lower resolution in case you don't have high speed.

IPTV monthly fees are pretty cheap, in my opinion, so adding a second or even a third service won't cost much.
