yes i do
i didnt of it till today after finishing every thing on offer to authentacte my mac and serial its not working for us kodi users in fact for best part of them that had to register with a mac 00:1a:79 ive just changed my mac back to the original along with the made up serial, device ID,device id_2,signature.
this is why we are recieving so much errors regarding the serial being added just leave your made up serials return to papiao change your mac from 78 to 79 make sure you test that its ready for the server and then change the mac in IPTV STALKER and load up the addon i never got 1 error. and i can confirm the pvr fires straight and is running smooth

Gave it a try, changing 78 to 79. but I get the same old "unable to load channels." Someone else thought the answer was to have the last place holder in the serial be an alpha character. I tried that recommendation but to no avail.

the serial code has nothing to do with the mac m8, the mac your using enter papiao change the mac so your mac isnt attached to any donation make sure iptv stalker is turned off leave the mac and serial you want to use already setdont bother with pvr at this point as the pvr only works if stalker iptv works, change your mac back to the mac your using it should be set in kodi ready to go when you change back to the mac your using give it a few minutes just to get set in papiao servers properly then start iptv stalker dont enter turn off kodi and restart this all i did only i set the serial and and mac while my mac was 79 not 78

psycon if your having issues with 78 it means the serial or lack of just send being enabled would not let me activate no matter what i did, im running stalker 9.0.21 pvr is the built in to kodi i changed versions to 15.2 release/stable. setup iptv with these steps
1,mac address 00:1a:79:xx:xx:xx
using mixture of numbers and letters i made 4 different 13 digit long serials..

once them were added to stalker i stopped the server went to papiao changed my mac only FROM 00:1a:78:xx:xx:xx TO 00:1a:79:xx:xx:xx without clearing any cache in kodi confirmmyour mac with papiao that its changed ok.
restart server on stalker iptv dont enter close kodi and restart then just make sure the settings are still the same try opening NFPS and entrer a channel i had no errors at all entering the section the channel played without issues.
the turn off server stalker iptv change the mac back to 78 inside papiao just give it a minute or 2 then recheck your macs activate and not still ready for donation. restart the iptv portal close kodi and restart it you will now be able to view the channels just make sure in pvr skip the first option "token" place your serials in the boxes i have 4 different serials so i coulodnt even get a error saying mixmatch again no clearing cache just start pvr then enable live tv even if you get an error just close kodi restart by live tv enable dont use pvr to start it up i never got an error when i restarted kodi and its all running fantastic

No where did I say the serial number has anything to do with the MAC. I know that. IPTV Stalker is running fine here. I cannot get the PVR to work. Many people can't get the PVR to work.

is your stalker iptv running without a serial just having send serial because if so and you dont have a serial in the boxes you wont get pvr to run the 4 boxes must match stalker iptv just having it set to send erial wont work

I thought that the 00:1A:79 was for the two brands of Mag and AVOV. The 00:1A:78 is for all the other boxes that require KODI. By using the 79 for KODI instead of 78 you are going to rob a future owner of a Mag or AVOV of their mac address requiring them to send a photo of their mac address and causing you a lot of problems in the future. So if using KODI to use stalker 9.0.21 then use the 78 as instructed by the staff.

Yep you are correct. Anyone that is using the 79 address for the Stalker Clients and EMUs will at some point loose their TV. Of course then they will com here and complain about it because they could not follow instructions.

Your arrogant, condescending answer doesn't help anyone! Most people can follow directions. The problem is when the directions are followed and the result isn't as intended.

Let's say we try...

1. Delete settings.xml in IPTV Stalker plugin
2. Get new MAC
3. Start IPTV Stalker 9.0.21
4. Add new MAC
5. Add 13 digit Serial Number
6. Add 4 digit Device 1 ID
7. Add 4 digit Device 2 ID
8. Add 8 digit Signature
9. Start IPTV Stalker
10. Receive Authorization Failed

I tried that about 10 times with the same result.

I then uninstalled IPTV Stalker, Cleared System Cache, Exited and Restarted Kodi

1. Install IPTV Stalker 9.0.21
2. Get new MAC
3. Start IPTV Stalker 9.0.21
4. Add new MAC
5. Add 13 digit Serial Number
6. Add 4 digit Device 1 ID
7. Add 4 digit Device 2 ID
8. Add 8 digit Signature
9. Start IPTV Stalker
10. Receive Authorization Failed

Otherwise, Kodi is operating perfectly. If I disable Custom Serial Number, IPTV Stalker runs perfectly. Yes, it may be sending hashes, and my MAC could be hijacked, but at least it is running, and I can watch TV.

Loads of people are doing this because the instructions don't work for them. They quit in exasperation and continue to watch TV.

By the way...

Yep, [comma necessary] you are correct. Anyone who [not that] is using the 79 address for the Stalker Clients and EMUs will at some point lose [not loose] their TV. Of course, [comma necessary] then they will come [not com] here and complain about it because they could not follow instructions.

I think this is just a work around when the service first started was simple,so hopefully we can get a simple solution to the problem or there will be pissed off ivue customers. So the question is why is so hard to just gt kodi running ?

@Laslo, there is no need for that attitude here. You are warned.

Try this... make sure you have no other IPTV Stalker versions or clones in your setup. Look in the file structure for the addons directory. If it isn't inconvenient, try a complete uninstall of Kodi and reinstall, and at first just install IPTV Stalker.

Others have used more than just plain numbers for their serials and other credentials. Make sure they have letters as well.

I'll say this about using the 79 prefix if you are not using a dedicated box. The word from the server guys is they don't want people that aren't on those boxes to use it, but for some reason, it may still work if you properly setup the customized serial numbers. It may work, but there is a chance that someone that is assigned that MAC will actually need it, so you will lose it. Also if you can connect without a serial number, with using either 78 or 79 prefixes, well, there is a glitch that allowed it. So, if it works, don't mess with it, but don't even bother mentioning it here... you setup is not correct and you will be told as so, and eventually it will stop working, when the server does its maintenance, or they catch up with that glitch.

I have tried every combination of alphanumeric characters for the serial number and device ids but to no avail. I have thoroughly scoured the installation. There is nothing installed that should be causing the issue. At this point, I do not want to ditch the current, otherwise flawless Kodi install, in the hopes that will be the answer. Like Bkman, I will take a wait and see strategy.

The problem seems pretty widespread, and it doesn't appear to be related to people being too dimwitted to follow simple steps...

I don't apologize for my remarks. The issue was rudeness and arrogance on Alucard's part. If he is allowed to dish it out on the forum, it should be alright to respond in kind.
