yes i do
I noticed a couple weeks ago, I had several PPV channels with ES at the end. I removed them in the channel manager. I see them just come back and I remove them again. Today I see I have a whole bunch more like hundreds is ES language not just PPV channels but other country channels that I never had and do to the shear number of them, I can't say If they are new and not some I removed. I am pretty sure I only had the English channels now I have Paraguay and other ES speaking countries and flags. It will take me some time to remove them from the guide and deactivate those countries channels. Only time will tell if they spawn themselves back in my list. What is odd about this is that I have the ABC, NBC, CBS channels from Miami in my guide and all the PPV English and the magically appearing ES PPV channels come in BEFORE the Miami networks. ABC, NBC, CBS are always at the end of the guide with these "NEW" channels appearing after my English guide channels but before the Miami network channels. Its crazy. PPV section is just wedged in the channel list before Miami network channels. I use channel numbers and order from back end. Just a heads up if anyone else can chime in here I would appreciate it. Now I am off to remove the ES PPV channels again!

I noticed this phenomenon has occurred yet again. My last English PPV channel is currently shown as channel 600 showing Knok noc (edited). My new channels are channel 1611 Taiwan 1, Taiwan 2 then China 1-8. All of these show up as channel 1611 through 1620. There are a total of 10. After the last China channel, I have Channel 8100 ABC New York that I expect to have. For some reason the new channels always get inserted between my last PPV channel and the ABC, NBC, CBS affiliates for New York and Miami. The up side of this is that there are only 10 total that I have to deactivate in my guide. Its odd but its predictable that they always "appear" for some reason in the guide between the channels I have described. I don't think its my configuration. I know I deactivated all channels from China a long time ago.

if you modify the channels or groups you must turn off "syncronize channel groups with backend" in system > TV. otherwise every time you restart kodi it will redownload the groups form the server and apply them.. you may also want to disable "use channel order from backend"

OK, I disable all three items for using backend, groups, channel numbers, and channel order. I even moved some channels around in my lineup and I have been fine for a couple weeks now . Today, I have 200 new channels that appeared after the PPV section. That's a lot of channels.

Has been happening to me for about a week now. The week prior I was on vacation so it might have been happening then as well.

Ok great I don't feel like the Lone Ranger now. I guess it is worth saying that I don't have the EPG add-on set to automatically configure my stalker client. I have it setup manually and just have not bothered to switch it over to auto and do a reset. I might get time to do that this week and see if that has any effect but I really don't expect it to. Who knows...

Since the removal of the PPV section, I still get channels popping up after I removed them. I have all the synchronize group channels and channel order removed but somehow the group of channels I choose expands to include more channels. Tonight I have about 30 more channels than I had this weekend. Most are in foreign language so I cant really watch them until I expand my horizons and learn another language. I just wish I knew why or how they get added. It has to be a function of the EPG somehow.

I modded my setup lately and used the epg updater to populate my stalker values. Been waiting to do that for while. Finally took the plunge. I had to change my MAC and reset my account. Bam it worked. my original setup also required that each channel be removed using channel editor and turn off the two bullet settings for "active" and "active in the guide". This time around I just used the group manager and selected all channels on the left and moved the channels I didn't want to "hidden channels".

IT didn't matter how I customized my channels, when using the epg updater, I would randomly get extra channels appear. lately its porno channels that I KNOW I hid so my kids don't see them. With all the guide issues, I turned off the epg updater and just set my stalker 1.0.8 to use the xml from the http://nfps.ninja.epg. I wonder if I will spawn new channels by eliminating the EPG updater addon. I have a feeling the random addition of new channels will stop now. Lets hope so... The porn channels just popping up after being hidden in all channels is definitely gonna get under my skin.

So, this issue of channels randomly populating is back, its worse than ever. My android box died, may it rest in peace, I installed Krypton on windows 10 and setup my stalker all that it works fine. My problem is, channel groups do not stay customized. every couple of days I get all channels again or at least hundreds more that I know I hid in group manager. If anyone has an idea let me know, I do not synchronize with back ends for groups, order or numbers. Queue twilight zone music.
