Greeting I am new on this IPTV STUFF

I bought a Mag 254 from someone and it was working great; but it is no longer working and the person is not here to fix it or explain how to fix it.
I tried to reset, but it keeps asking for a user name and password which I don't have. Can anybody help on this matter. I will appreciate it very much.
