yes
For the last 7-10 days I have had nothing but freezing on the HD channels. Reset, reboots, adjustments do nothing. Channel takes a long time to load when selected 10-30 seconds then freezing starts within 30 seconds and progresses to full lock up over about 20 minutes. Examples are 120, 118,122, 126, 182thru186, 192, 350 etc 195 seems on permanent zoom.
Non HD channells have no issue have been watching them mainly with no issue but renewal is 15 days away and if HD is an issue well decisions need to be made and the wife is pissed that she can't watch without freezing.

I have tried every fix including having a tech attend to prove download speed in a rural area and ensure it was not a hardware issue.

Any help would be appreciated on Mag 254

Hi Hunter148, I got the same issue. I am also on a rural area and have a max speed of 12mbps which when all of the IPTV thing was starting was supposed to be more then enough. I don't think that is true. I have also tried every fix I have seem posted nothing solves the issue of HD freezing. If you come up with a solution please post. Thanks

I have been pulling my hair out for a week and here is what i have.

Upgraded service to 20Mbps and getting anywhere from 16-18 at any given time

Upgrade router to the latest greatest. IT DID HELP, SD LOADS LIGHTNING FAST WORKING A+, SOME HD NOW WORKS BUT 120,182 ETC HISTORY, DISCOVERY DOES NOT JITTERING, FREEZING OUT OF SINQ( I do not watch sports or movies so those channels are not my problem and if they work or not, I could care less)

Had a buddy attend at the house who runs one of the biggest IT departments in North America and has more qualifications than God and his diagnosis is the HD issue is not on my end.
He indicated that if it was I would not be getting any watchable HD, not just certain channels. He dicked with modem, router and box for 2 hours, including reload of the mag.

Took my box to town(50mpbs service) to my nephews, who also has a Mag254 but on a different server, his works, mine has same issue as at home. Reload my box with his settings it works in town and in the country. Only have a couple days left on sub and no more time to give to something that is not my problem.

I can now draw my own conclusions. I will renew in hopes the issues that not just myself are experiencing get worked out. I agree that many of us have no use for HD if it does not work MORE THAN 15 SECONDS. If it only works in the city then the citiots can have HD just like most of the services these days. No offence mods but this situation is costing you money and customers by the day and most don't have my patience or tech support to work through a very frustrating issue!!

I agree, I have the same experience. I have 100 mbit but this service has never worked satisfing for me. I signed up because of sky sport and I still have to see all skysport channels up at the same time

What I find is if you mention freezing/buffering, mods come on and saying most things are fine or not as bad as stated. How can so many of us be experiencing the same problems and we are pretty sure we know what the problem is. Server issues.

I can watch some of the same channels in HD (not that I particularly want them in HD) in other free addons no problems.

If you bring these freezing issues to light to often, then you will be accused of "bashing" the service although if you don't mention anything how can they find solutions?

It is madness. Let's just hope the people in charge have the sense to spend some of the donation money on improving the service

I have always beleived you and that indeed you are experiencing what you say.
I also am speeking the truth on what I experience.

Gather them tests that you did or are doing and send the results to the administrators thru email. Ensure to use a snapping title telling of content, to draw their attention to the email.

Don't waste your, time sending complaints to Papaio... Every letter I have sent ( and there have been many) are returned with the same form letter:

'Our technicians are working tirelessly to resolve these issues' ALWAYS the same response!
