yes I do.
Hey there, just got Coach Potato going, and I love it, this has been the easiest setup I've seen so far!

With that said I'm experiencing 2 issues (I've seen both mentioned, but didn't see any results of it).

1) Most importantly, I seem to be 3 hours ahead in the EPG. I've changed time zones in Coach Potato settings, applied to pvr simple client, clear cache, restarted Kodi. I've even deleted the tv\epg*.db just for good measure another time, however I don't see any changes. I know my "Vancouver" time zone is off , saying it's -0700 instead of -0800 so I've tried other time zones, but it still shows the guide to my current device time.

2) No VOD's are displayed. No biggie, just was wondering if anyone had any insight on that as I didn't see a response

If these were answer I apologize in advance (I read about 200-250 posts and 4 different threads and did search prior).

Thanks in advance!

With PotatoTV I had to actually adjust my System timezone. Nothing I did would correct it (very strange??)

In your System settings(Android STB, PC etc):

Turn off Automatic Internet Time.
Change your Timezone by 3.
Readjust your systems time by 3hrs to correct time.

Restart Kodi (You may need to Clear Data in PVR/TV Settings.

VOD is accessed through the PotatoTV addon. They are not in the TV listings. (if that is what you meant!)

Much appreciated. I was hoping there was a work around, but that's fine.

And VOD, thanks, I had just realized that shortly after I played around with a bit more, I jumped the gun on that one.

I hope they can get the time zone\EPG issues resolved though, that's really the only thing I can even worry about, everything is absolutely awesome otherwise. VERY IMPRESSED!

1. the timezone setting will be used only if you running the addon on kodi 16 --

if you're running it on on kodi 17++, all timezone setting will be ignored and wiil be read as null by default

you can fix the EPG time reference manually by setting the value (+/- hours) of EPG TIME SHIFT in the PVR Simple Client configuration

2. for potato addon v1.x, the VODs are only available within the video adddon

FYI,

some major changes on the next release addon v2.0.0

some new options / settings were added into the addon config, such as:

1. EPG Time Shift

2. new option for including the VOD movies / tv series with the PVR m3u playlist

No joy

I watched your vid and tried both methods, neither worked for me. I even grabbed a new copy of the m3u file and used NP++. The m3u was listed as generic, there wasn't one that referred to Kodi. The string you said to replace is not in the m3u . If I add the line from your vid does it go at the top of the file? What shift value would I use for Eastern Standard Time with Daylight Savings Time? PS Things worked better before the improvements were made. LOL

I haven't pushed any updates into my repo

thanks anyway for proving me what Plato/Socrates said is true
there are still few "genius" guys among us !!!

LMFAO

You can get the VOD channels to show in the EPG if you use URL for the playlist in IPTV Simple Player instead of the Viper URL. So if I want correct time in the EPG listings I need to switch back to the Stalker Client? As I said the methods for correcting the time shown in your video did not work for me. Oh the improvements that I meant was the switch to the "New System" The Stalker PVR Client worked well no fuss or muss with the guide.
