My current subscription (which was purchased through a retailer) is set to expire in the next week or so (I haven't been able to check my route with the latest login screen). I want to purchase directly and see the payment screen has an optional area to enter a MAC address. Can I use my current MAC, or will I need to get a new one for the new subscription (ie. will the one I am currently using show as unavailable)?

The service has come a long way in quality and reliability since I first came on board - I'd like to stick with it and cut out the middle man to have full control over my account :)

Did your retailer give you an order # ? You need that at the least to check your mac and change it. Worst case just get your own sub and change the mac... not really a big deal. At least that way you have control of your data.
 
I was able to get all the information from him and used to be able to use the route checker, but since they changed the login several months back I haven't been able to log in anymore (it just brings me to a screen that states "Allow us 24-48 hours to process your order after purchase or check if your credit card was charged."... not sure why.

Thanks for confirming on the MAC change - I'll wait until my current subscription dies and go ahead and purchase direct this time.
