Comfast Wifi Adapter

hi to all

i buy Comfast WiFi Adapter- CF-WU720N-1 from ebay. its comes with driver Cd , works fine on Computer after installation of drivers, But when i plug in my Mag254 nothing shows there but when i search wireless network with this WiFi adapter messages shows no WiFi adapter found,

but i have old WiFi adapter same like new one..that works fine when i insert in mag254 its search all the wifi connection and connect easily..i am in confusion what is the difference in both adapters, both looks ditto all model number is same.. i attach the picture with this message please help me ..

Certian chipsets on the wifi adapters will not work on the mags.

informir has a wifi adapter support page they have a list of wifi adapters compatible with mag stbs.

Ya ...but this is one exect same as my old one...no single diffrence..my old one works fine

Defective or they might be using different chipset.
