hello all,
Seems like when amazon black listed some apps to the fire tv box, this last update of theres, I can't use some of the vpn apps in the Kodi add-more apps list. Like vpn for open elec and vpnicity. vpnicity web sight says won't work with fire tv. Open vpn won't even install. Don't even try from amazon store vpn apps. You get maybe incompatible with device. And it is. When I download it and go to fire tv and hit sync, it won't install into fire tv. The youtube vids are old instructilons, year 2015 or 14 way before the new update black list to fire tv. Maybe you know of an update to this. Is the only way to get vpn, is to install to a router? I have a netgear router, that allows this. But I want to see another way first. My iptv stalker channels are freezing. I was told vpn may help stop that. I'm going to reboot my router tomorrow and see if that may help with the video freezing. Thanks for any help. P.S. I've even tryed installing into fire tv box with the esfile explorer, they install but dont work. Maybe I'm doing some thing wrong. I do stuff wrong at times. LOL.

amazon has removed vpn libraries from their modified android version. I tried copying the openvpn bin to busybox and copy the certs and everything from ipvanish (other vpn providers should work to with this method) as some tutorials suggest, it didn't fully work. however i'm not sure its impossible I did not spend much time with it. this is on the pre v.5 firmware btw.

I'm trying to run it on Kodi with my Raspberry Pi 2. I followed the steps, however whatever point i attempt to run 'Setup Private Internet Access' i get a 'VPN for OpenELEC' I get error every time.

Do you know what's going on? Is there a fix? Thanks!
