The BuzzTV X5 arrived today
In truth thou, it had arrived this last Monday but there was no one home at the time and the postal guy set the parcel at the back door as he musta thought it was a more secure place to leave it. Which turns out that it was, I never even saw it there for the last 5 days
So anyway, after retrieving the parcel and noticing the water damage to the packaging I was a bit worried, but there was no need to worry as the inner packaging never saw any moisture. So that good.
Opening the gift box I was not surprised to see the packaging arrangement and protective material used was top notch (as usual). You can see my other threads on BuzzTV's considerations taken into their packing their devices.
See more on that --> http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?44851-BuzzTV-XRS4900-unboxing.
The device itself was sitting on top in it's secure spot and when i lifted it out and removed the protective envelope thingy, the first thing I noticed was the device was all steal (aluminum). Not just the edges or underside, but the complete outer casing is steal (aluminum).. I noticed this so evidently because it was cold to the touch and did have some weight to it.
It was cold cause it sat outside in thru 5 cold nights up here in Canada, it even snowed twice during that time
The device is super fine looking too. They have used the steal and brazz look rather nicely
How do you spell Brazz ? Did I get that correct ? lol
Ryu has some pics and Specs posted.

The specific name for the X5 device is shown on the box as :
X5 128 AI BuzzTV Set Top Box
Comes with the BT-400 Smart Remote.

They have included a notice in the box, with a web address which I understand is to learn the RCU's functionalities and such stuff.
Also comes with universal AC power input plugs, which means it is ready for use in Western or Eastern World Hemispheres
I have not plugged in the device yet. In fact I set it outside again, just on my stoop. I want it to cool off in the cold morning air again, so I can have that first impression of the cold metal once again ... before I fire this bad boy up !
