Buying Mag 254

Hi everyone. I'm in Toronto and wants to buy a mag 254. Went to their authorized dealer website here in TO but out of stock and emailed them but no response. I'm new to this and hear there are clones or bad boxes. I want the real one (don't trust what's on kijijji). Anyone help. Thx.

First of all you should do some research on what to look for as far as clones go, i bought mine at an electronics store( from kijiji ) in Ajax and its legit, paid about 120.00 after taxes.

if u r buying to get iptv from iks then think twice.
Lots of freezing on channels for now as development work is still in progress.

Had the same questions. In the end I bought mine from Amazon. Price was OK, delivery fast, and I'm satisfied with what I got. Lots of comments about freezing but this largely depends on your watching habits.

Biggest objection I have is that the box tech stats indicate recording possibilities but in reality this is not implemented. Go through the menus and recording is there, including on the controller, but there is no recording ability and discussions on this board imply that recording will never be available.
