Why don,t you do a factory reset and bring it back to factory again. Unplug your box and go into the Bois. You won,t loose your r14 software. Right every thing down before you do this and make sure you install your donation correctly. It will reboot after this then go into settings and make sure you set video to correct settings etc. You do this with the internet unhooked from your box. After you have every thing installed hook back the internet and let it reboot and if you have a good valid donation it should work. Good luck
 
Nothing on the TV screen. Blue light on front of box is on, no Infomir logo, or anything from the box.

Then its not a 'reset' problem. Try the Mag on a different tv if you can and make sure your tv input is correct i.e. video1, video2, etc. If you are using HDMI you could have problems with the cable/connections. Try the composite (R/W/Y) cable that comes with the box.

The problem is at your end between the Mag and the tv, doing resets is not going to help. You should be able to see the inner portal and other menus without having the internet connected.
 
Happy times are here again. My MAG 254 is back on line. Before I read your thread juan, I tried a reset as per the instructions written by Marlev - how to reset your box. It took a couple tries but everything happened just as he explained. All I had to do was enter rocket URL again. Much thanks for all the attention and recommendations that you people gave me. This is a great site. As per the old days of the "foot ball card" it is called testing.
