The difficulty about all of this is it just feels so random and trying to diagnose whether the problem is at your end or their's is practically impossible right now.
I have Kodi 16rc2 on a Windows laptop and an Android with 2 separate IKS donations. The laptop has barely even noticed there's been any issues and I've had all channels, no buffering, etc most of the time. The Android meanwhile is down most of the time and when it is working, it's pretty much unwatchable with constant buffering.....yet they're both working off the same configuration, add-ons, settings, high speed wifi service, etc and both worked fine before the current set of problems. Explain that!
It's so frustrating but I'm not going to waste another minute trying to fix the Android until I read on here that there's a solid, consistent service out there again for all users. Oh and IKS fix their website so I can actually log into their site and change my MAC for when I do try and overhaul the Android.
I caught myself considering going back to cable last night until I had a harsh word with myself!
