Apple is planning to ditch Intel as the CPU manufacturer for its Mac computers as of 2020, according to a new report coming out of Bloomberg. The suggestion that Apple would like to move away from a reliance on Intel for its Mac-based computers has been floating around for a good long while now, and with the company building its own ARM-based CPUs for use in the iPhone and iPad, it does make plenty of sense that it would want to do the same with the Mac.
