I've owned a Fire TV stick for a while now. I run Kodi 15.2 on it with IPTV Stalker version 9.0.21. Stalker usually works fine with an occasional buffering issue her or there.
On the Black Friday deal, I bought the Fire TV box, thinking wired Internet and more RAM will make my Stalker experience even better.
Here's my issue:
I loaded Kodi 15.2 on it with the same IPTV Stalker 9.0.21. About 30-40% of the channels play fine for about 2 seconds. After 2 seconds, the video hangs completely while the audio still keeps playing. This happens every time to the same channels. Examples are CNN, Fox News, WGNTV and many others.
I've tried Kodi 16.0 beta. I've tried the previous versions of IPTV Stalker. I've tried using the advancedsettings.xml with upgraded buffer cache. No effect.
I've tried this on 2 Fire TV boxes. The stick plays fine. It's just the boxes.
I'd really appreciate if someone has any ideas on how to fix this issue.
Thanks,
-nadan
