The biggest change is the Android OS version 7.0, which allows installation of Kodi 17 and above. The biggest gripe for me of the previous T1+ was the version 4.4. If you already have a T1, and are fine with the interface, you probably will get by if you don't need to run Kodi 17, but add-ons will be less compatible going forward. For those who may care, the box is not rooted, but that was the same as the previous versions.

I didn't notice any other changes, you still have access to the local market, Aptoid and Google Play stores. You will need to install DOL2 for IPTV service. Kodi 17 runs with no issues, unlike the version 16 forks.

As far as the actual device, instead of 2 USB 2.0 ports on the T1 Plus, you get a USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port. However, you do not have an on-off switch. The remote is the same as well.

All-in-all a very good box, but unless you really need apps that run on Android 5.1+, you may not need to upgrade yet. It works fine for IPTV, and can run other apps. Picture quality is great, but I'm only running 1080P, so take that for what its worth.

I hear you on that been testing in 4k which runs very smooth had a problem loading my portal but thats fine now had do box reset all and all a very nice box to get like running kodi 17.6 on box can now play things i couldn't with out getting dependency not met really a fast and smooth epg is hr off for me like rest but that will be fixed .I need play with this box to give you my review but for most part its a keeper .

WiFi is a dongle, but I don't use WiFi. It will take one of your USB ports.

The specs are probably correct. I'm seeing available storage about 3.9g (out of 8), and available RAM at 885mb.

To be honest, I'm not sure if the box is 4K, as there was no setting for that (but I'm using a 1080P monitor).

Are we sure the specs listed in text on the site are absolutely correct? The PDF spec sheet seems to indicate that it has HDMI 2.0a, while the website lists HDMI 1.4a. Also, they advertise 4K HDR -- which is only possible with HDMI 2.0 -- so is this a true 4K HDR box?

Does anyone have any input on this?

The slow loading EPG is by far the worst part of this box! Loving every other aspect of it, but the EPG is just horrendous. It's obviously not an issue with the IPTV provider, because using the same service on a different IPTV app has no problems. From Reading comments across various forms on the internet, this sounds like a long-standing issue. I am surprised that they have not fixed this by now.

It is possible that they simply can not figure it out..

I mean that could be the case, but as others have pointed out in other threads, why can't they immediately start caching the channels in the current group at the current time slot, and once that is complete, start caching a few hours before, and a few hours ahead. There's no reason to grab the EPG data only when it's needed -- it's better to prefetch these kinds of assets.
