4k Question

I have a 4k tv/4k iptv channels I have changed my resolution to 4096x2160p but when i turn to 4k stations they arent 4k what am im doing wrong

in Dreamlink goto Settings/Android/Display/Custom Display Format, set accordingly

Have you tried any 4k Youtube videos.
Im not sure Im understanding the question.
Your TV Resolution or STB Resolution?
Someone chime in if you can assist.

Mr Roo I am only speaking about my stb how do u turn on the 4k i changed my stb settings im watching a 4k channel i have a 4k tv i game and watch movies in 4k i now 4k when i see it. Im not seeing 4k

4k isn't offered on the services offered here. nfps/rocket/66.
As for your settings on the Dreamlink, that would be anything over 2160.(see post #2)

Are you sure the stream is truly 4k?

It's very rare to receive a 4k broadcast. Most video is still being broadcasted in 720p.. and few in 1080i.

Try playing 4k content from YouTube and see if you're still having trouble.

@dizzurp i want to say thanks for your help. I am not sure its a 4k stream but the channel says 4k i.e. wwe4k channel name 4k I will tonight check youtube 4k content on my dreamlink and see if its still a problem. I will post back

As I mentioned, that's something you'll have to contact your provider about. Your box is working fine.

I'm positive I know the server you're talking about and they have no 4k channels

Your right @dizzurp my box is fine provider lied to me im not getting 4k streams its a 1 month sub then im going to move on to another provider gotta do more research and find a good provider

As I mentioned, that's something you'll have to contact your provider about. Your box is working fine.

It's hard to find a good provider that offers reliable, good quality HD content. 4K is like a needle in a haystack.

You have to sacrifice a few things with IPTV. If you really need 4k you can always sign up with your local cable company and pay $100-$200 every month instead of $10-$20.

Also as I mentioned, 4k content is extremely limited. Nothing is really being filmed in 4k so you cant expect to get 4k for everything.

I agree with dizzurp, your best bet for 4k is movies (Kodi)or youtube or as he stated, through your local cable company.
Streaming 4k is difficult for most iptv providers other than cable companies due to bandwith etc...
Heck HD is hard enough for many iptv providers
