Guess who is playing this weekend ?
Fred Couples is and a few other old timers of the game , but that is not who I am referring to... Can yous guess ?

Tiger Woods has won five Masters Tournaments, earning his first Green Jacket in 1997 at age 21 and his latest, in a career comeback, at 43 in 2019.
Only Jack Nicklaus (with six) has won more Green Jackets.

Not the best round with 6 boogies and only 3 birdies.... BUT he seems to be playing very good and in good form :)

His second shot on the par 4 tenth hole was amazing , really.
Look at the path and the bunkers and stuff in the way. Tiger pitched up the ball and landed right by the cup :)

Tiger is in the Club House with a third round score of 78 for the day.
His first and second rounds were 71 and 74 , if I remember that correctly.
His game is good all around except on the greens. His putting was where he lost strokes today.

Scheffler has been in the lead since the 1st round and comfortably in the lead most of the way, at one point he was 6 strokes ahead. Has 4 Birdies on the front 9 today.
But his playing partner, Schwartzel, is not gonna go down without a fight.... he just made an Eagle on the 10th and with 3 birdies on the front 9, to bring himself back within 5 strokes to the leader Scheffler.
Cameron Smith is on his game too and is in second place currently at 4 strokes back

Well Tiger has not made a miraculous comeback as some of us may have hoped :(
Tiger is struggling and you can see it in his step.
With only one Birdie so far today, he is currently on the 13th , a hole in which he has Birdie 3 times this weekend.

The Leaders have not yet teed off today, but should be soon :)

tiger is warming up :)

Tiger finished up at the 18th and on his walk to the clubhouse you would think he had won the Masters with how the crowd reacted :)

The Leaders are now on the course, with the last pairing currently finishing up at the 2nd
Scheffler is holding a 2 stroke lead over Smith .

Yes, Sceheffler dropped a few strokes in the latter part of yesterday's 3rd round

Birdie , Birdie for Smith to start his day :)
Only one stroke back now.

And Rory is making a move too but still has a ways to go. He is looking at a Grand Slam for the year, if he could win this today.

Oh my !!
Scheffler had a bad tee shot on the 3rd and ended up almost hitting the score stand thingy. He got some relief but was still in the rough (of course).
He then hit his second shot and came up short of the green and his ball rolled back and back and back. So then came his pitch and what a pitch it was.
He holed it for a Birdie!

This is gonna be a battle to the end with Smith and Schwartzel and Im and Lowery tugging at Scheffler's heels and Rory with another Birdie is now tied for third, but still 7 strokes back from the Leader

Red Hot Rory is having a fantastic round so far.

Our defending Champ just made an Eagle as well.

Smith dropped a few strokes with a Triple Boogie at the 12th (in the water).
Rory has not had another Birdie since that Eagle on the 13th, but still no Boogies. But time is running out for Rory thou.
Scheffler has been back and forth between -10 or -11 for the day so far

Scheffler @ -10 thru 11
Rory @ -6 thru 17
Smith @ -4 thru 11

THIS JUST IN !!

Rory's first and second shots on the 18th have seen two Bunkers
BUT then his third shot outta the Bunker he HOLED it for another Birdie to end his round @ -7 for the Tournament.

And then his playing partner, Collin Morikawa, does the exact same thing outta the Bunker at the 18th as well !!
You can't make this stuff up :)

All we can do now is see how Scottie Scheffler does who is currently sitting @ -10 thru 13 holes.
All he needs to do is play save and steady and he will be the 2022 Master's Champ (easy for me to say) :)

added:
Birdie for Scheffler at the 14th and back to -11 !!

Smith continues his downslide with another Boogie at the 14th after the Triple Boogie at the 12th, putting him @ -3 thru 14

BTW , Scottie is ranked #1 in the world @ 25 years young !
He beat out Woods and Duval at reaching that ranking, at just 42 days since his first tour win to get to #1.
Woods and Duval both were in the triple digits with over 250 days after their first tour wins, to get to that rank.

Looks like some will bee "Teed-off" by the end of this round...!!!
lol... yea :)

And yet another Birdie for Scottie at the 15th to put him @ -12

Smith answers with two Birdies in a row as well, at the 15th and 16th ... to put into 3rd place sole position @ -5 ... and two strokes behind Rory's second place position.

Lowery with 6 Birdies for the day, has now also Birdied the 18th ... which puts him in a tie for third with Smith @ -5

Coming up is a long Birdie attempt for Scheffler at the 18th.

I think it's now save to add Scottie's name to this thread title as the winner of the 2022 Masters :)

lol...almost spoke too soon as Scottie missed the long Birdie putt and went by the hole by just a couple feet, but then missed the Par putt and then missed the Boogie putt and ended with a Double Boogie

Scheffler finishes @ -10
Rory @ -7
Smith and Lowery tied @ -5

Scottie Scheffler our 2022 Masters Champ !

And tied the record of a 36 hole lead at the Masters.
:)

This is Scottie's 4th pro win with just 6 starts in total .. amazing !

* and Rory played the best Sunday round recorded at Augusta, by anyone ever in history of the Masters.
