Thanks

I noticed a TVOnlinesys update this morning around 5:30 AM. After this OTA update everything is working. Unplug your box from the Power and make sure your plugged into a wired internet connection and re plug in. Let it sit for 15 minutes and should update.

I tried to help another Avov user on another site with his unit.
It performed an automatic Update, and it has not worked since.
Hard reboot did nothing. Don't know if reversion back is a possibility.
Obviously the update changed something critical to the TVOnline Stalker client.

Recommended FTMC (or SBMC) which is a Kodi fork for older Android devices and is available in Avovs Marketplace.

If bwcbob is correct, maybe the powers that be, realized the problem and issued another update to fix the previous one, which was a week ago.

SBMC actually needs android 5.0 or higher to work correctly ...........I believe FTMC will support android 4.4 or higher ...........CEMC will support older versions of Android 4.2 or higher .........EBMC will support Android 4.4 or higher.......Don't know what version of Android is in some of the Avov boxes and what Kodi Fork they are putting in there Marketplace

Since i stopped using Kodi my tvonline works very good.

I have had Avov tv-online plus boxes in the past and remembered that sometimes the Ethernet connection would not show up in the box...just wireless......once I factory defaulted the boxes with this problem it was fixed.....Now you may have internet working fine but the live-tv part of it is not...Well thats a different problem......Couple of days ago I had two Buzztv boxed just stop connecting to the live-Tv server.......So I changed the port and all was fine...

If your AVOV updated and will no longer connect:

1) Log into Papiao, go to your donation number, go into "edit", and generate a new donation #.
2) On same page in Papiao, change your portal to a different portal. I used portal #2, because I was on a different one.
3) After you change the portal, make sure you click on "update donation" at the bottom of the window. Go into "edit" one more time to make sure you now have a new donation number and that you are now on a new portal.
4) Go into AVOV settings/server settings and input your new donation number and portal info. Your AVOV should now connect to the new portal!!

Next steps are IMPORTANT:
5) Click Live TV and Click on Channel 21 (CHching!) - this is the only channel that will work. Leave it there for a few seconds.
6) Try channel 88 (Gold), which may or may not work. (probably not)
7) Hit "back" button to get completely out to the main menu screen.
8) Click on Live TV again to go back in.
9) Click on Channel 21 (CHching!) again. After it loads, click on channel 88 (Gold) again. Channel 88 should load now.
10) Try other channels. Everything that's up should now work for you, including VOD.
