I take it you have the latest Amazon tv 2nd version. There is a incompatibility issue with the acceleration. Go under settings then video make sure you have expert selected at the top then under acceleration make sure to turn off any hardware acceleration. That will fix your freezing issue...

If you have amazon fire tv, you have to make a couple of changes to it to keep it from freezing.

I found a fix under the fire tv section. And all is well now.

All American channels Is anyone else having problems with their American channels? They all play for roughly 5 seconds and then the picture freezes. The audio keeps playing perfect but the screen is frozen.
