sure i understand the recording no no, but how would i setup catchup 7 day TV without having a) an external hard drive and recording everything b) a big ass server thats recording several channels 24/7 so i can 'catchup' so to speak. i've tried reading forum posts, stickys and even reached page...

i'm presuming this would be recording the channels for the previous 7 days to an external device.... i have a mag 254 and have been told recording isn't possible. this is where i seem to be going round in circles.

i kinda agree. i'm new to IPTV and trying to find a sub with mainly UKTV, ideally 7 day catchup and all the sports. trying to get an answer into which supplier can do what is a nightmare, both on here and from ik66, rocket and nfps. no response and i'm here cash in hand waiting to sign up...

So I got a mag 254 and I'm seeing IPTV stalker and kodi thrown about a lot and wondering a) what they are b) what is there benefit and c) how you install/add them to a mag254. I've read a few posts but not sure what they do. Thanks.
