I have to disagree with that statement. A Mag or Avov are made exclusively for IPTV. (Avov does have more functionality). The stalker middleware is on the server side, so there is no risk of the box going down when a program like Kodo changes their coding. When that happens, and it will...

I think using emulators is a huge risk. Sure, they may work now, but a change in KODI code, and they are down, then you have to wait for a coder to fix the app. Invest in a proper IPTV box (MAG or Avov). The price is cheap compared to what an FTA receiver was.

When you link your MAC, you can also change it.

My only concern using Kodi is if they make any changes, the app goes down, then you have to wait until someone recodes the app and updates. It's a chance you take. I still say you would be better off investing in a Mag or Avov. They are made for IPTV, plain and simple.

I have a Mag, but I did try the Stalker app on Kodi, and it's working fine for me.

It does not work perfect on any server. Channels will go up and down.

Most servers I've tried have never had the British channels right. A couple of the Sky movie channels are correct. It's work in progress!
