Yes, I am ready to pay more for HD channels.

I think the servers must have at least two kind of channel list: 1 with SD quality and a 2nd with HD quality. The first for people with low internet speed, and the second for people with high speed. This is just my opinion.

No, I have a MAG254 and a French Portal. The quality is better than 720p. It has nothing to do with boxes...

I didn't try yet but according to AndroidMan, you should change it on your router settings. Not on your computer !!! If the router has an IP address of 192.168.1.1, you can connect to it by opening a Web browser and visiting http://192.168.1.1/
