Get a good generic Android STB.
I've been testing the Buzz xpl2000
(It also has Stalker Client but have not tested this method yet)
Very good unit for the money (~$100)
If you dont like Kodi, use Perfect Player for Android (Playstore), using a Generic m3u w/Options Playlist.
I've tested this unit with Kodi 17.4 with PotatoTV (MAC#) and PP with Playlist.
Both methods work perfect, and if you use the stuffed PotatoTV Template, all Channel numbers are proper.

Stay away from the Mag's, at least until they release the new unit.

BTW - Many users report their AVOV's auto-updating and then not working.
Supposedly they released another update to rectify
Try a manual update. It may fix the problem.\
You may have to enter the settings again, but I'm not sure.

I've tried all I can do, I'm 1500 miles from 3 of them, I can give instructions limited at that. He brings them back and forth. I love KODI, I use VPN & Debrid. The only reason I have an IPTV box is to help keep my buddy going, I've given up on this a long time ago.

Do a reset of your box so that there is no information in your AVOV server. Then go into KODI and put your information in pvr stalker client. Use the same mac address except for the "79" change this to a "78". If by chance you get a mac address already in use then go into the system - information and check the mac address showing there. Then sub the first 3 parts to a "00:1A:78:" and the last three parts finish the mac address. From now own if you get a mac address blocked by server --- just change one of the last three parts of the mac address and you are good to go. There is ample of information on how to set up the stalker client and get a good working guide. Good luck and let us know how things progress.

I have an avov VXO1, which is the very first box they released, working with the tvonline app. It is true that their use is very limited, but IPTV works great. I feel your pain when trying to help someone that lives far away from you, as it is almost impossible to give instructions on every little detail. But if those three boxes have the tvonline app working and their mac address are registered with their donation numbers, they should still work. It might be a small detail that is scaping you at the moment. Best of luck.

A friend just gave me his AVOV TV+ to see what happened to it.
s/w ver 1.0.8
Everything I installed is gone.
Apps previously installed are gone, but Playstore says they are installed and wont re-install. I cant find them!
And the unit shuts off ~every 5 min. ???

Recommended using as a Nail.

Curious

Got one also, Just shows AVOV on a Black Background...! The lights flickered back and forth from Red to Blue about 4 times and finally stopped on Red...! Unplugged for over an hour and Re-plugged and it has been sitting like that for over another hour with no response...! Left it Off and Unplugged over night and started over about 2 an 1/2 hours ago...! Hands seemed to be tied now as it looks like it is a goner...! Appreciate any Ideas besides Shooting it, don't want to waste a Good Bullet...! I also have a MX Box for Kodi, is there a Proggy that will allow TV Online to work on that...?!? Have A Great Day and May GOD Bless...! ;)

Someone is selling one on eBay for $58. and in the pics loaded one shows the Red Light On...! I asked if it was the Red or Blue Light that was lit and they replied that it has always been just a Red Light On...! Why does Mine have a Red and a Blue Light.. exact same Box...?!? The Auction Ends in 2 Hours...! Lol...!

If your talking about the Avov tv online box......there are 3 different models....the original tv online had only a red light.........the tv-online plus had red and blue......and tv-online V2 had red and blue light

Also you could reset it to factory defualts by using the reset button in the back of that box.....you need a paper clip.....insert it in the reset slot...hold it in then plug the power in for 12 seconds....then release the paper clip....you should have the Android reset page...........choose factory default
