Have you tried a different video player?

not allowing to change player, and the box is the 3000 not the 3900 if it makes any difference.

im in california and the box is at a friend in north carolina, so i dont see exactly what message they are getting,so i will have them continue this thread tomorrow or start a new thread, but thanks for your help.
