This is probably already known but most of the channels are missing guide info on my Avov. Lots of blank info, lots of "to be announced". Figured I'd mention it just in case. :)

Did you verify that you're connecting to the right portal for your specific donation number by using the donation checker?

Use the donation checker, input your donation number and pay attention to what's listed for iptv server. The addresses have changed and vary depending on what they assigned to your donation number.

I've only been able to establish a connection once or twice in the past few days (by going into server settings in my avov and hitting connect a bunch of times in there), however even when the connection bar does go yellow when I launch the guide it doesn't show any channels whatsoever. None...

So, what's really going on? Going on 4 days of downtime, which is the longest stretch I can recall seeing. Hackers? Aliens? DHS? Somethings up, and by the look of things it's not good.

Try finding and using a vpn. Perhaps your isp is intentionally throttling you.

I've been back up and watching for the past 45 minutes or so fwiw.

Mine has been working fine all morning. Stream froze a few min ago, tried restarting to no avail. Rebooted the avov and am unable to reconnect to the server at all.

It's actually gotten way better lately now that they've closed a lot of the loopholes which allowed people to access the service without subscription. Hang tight and hope they continue to improve... but unless you want your friends and family to bug you everytime the service gets flakey I'd...

Live links are disallowed, but they put a banner ad on the forum? That is some good irony. Hopefully they use some of the ad revenue to continue to improve the service... or get rid of them altogether which frankly is the preferable option. You're outing us to Google with these ad's.

I assume the server is set to automatically reboot or reload essential services at this time everyday. Happens everyday like clockwork. Understandable, but would seemingly be more appropriate if it were to happen at 1 or 2 am pst (4 or 5 am est)

Makes sense I guess. Before the authentication it was the many unauthorized users bogging down the server. Now, it's the authentication itself bogging down the server.

I believe it's because the whole process requires authentication now, where before it was pretty much wide open. So instead of your box making the simple request to receive the next page of info and then receiving it, now it has to provide the user credentials, wait for the server to process and...
