anyone found a solution to reorganize channels into custom groups in Kodi if so, please create a sticky

I created my own custom groups using group manager and deactivated the following options 1. Use Channel Order from Backend 2. Use Channel Numbers from Backend 3. Synchronize groups from the backend server however, when I close Kodi and reopen, I loose all my custom group. any help? Thanks,
